This ebook is first and foremost a compilation of some rounding-off remarks on the TV program spanning years.

However, it has been designed to help a student understand Nigeria from four different perspectives, at least.

1. The alternative poetry angle.

2. Politics and governance

3. Yoruba/Philosophy

4. History/Events.

There are too many Nigerians, especially (but not only) ordinary people who (Words on the waves) just don't understand Nigeria.

They feel the pains, the pleasures but they hardly understand why and how they end up with their portion.

There are Events and analysis which shed some light on this phenomenon. Yet, it would be profoundly immodest to say one could explain it all. No one could.

But this is an effort from a three-decade observatory. I have been a witness.

In the course of my career, I have sat across and interviewed no fewer than three military head of state- IBB, Abdulsalami and OBJ, in a bid to see into them and then present them from the inside.

The engagements have been wide and intense over time. They are so instructive here. We intend to create a series, with this being the first. I truly believe this will serve the student, the teacher and the truth seeker.
