About Test Leger-Boucher

This application has been made thanks to the collaboration of Fernando Ortiz de Fez, Bachelor of Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport, National Athletics Coach and Coach of the Runners Ciutat de Valencia club.

The Léger-Boucher test consists of delimiting an athletics track with cones every 50 meters or a flat surface with few curves so that the runner must match the audio signal with the passage through the cone.

The test starts at the speed of 9km/h and every two minutes the speed is increased by 1km. the application allows you to listen to an audio in each cone, vibration warning or both, being able to disable any of the options, for the user's convenience.

The test ends once the athlete fails to reach the cone at the time of listening to the audio signal and finds it impossible to recover the distance in the next cone. Once the test is complete, you must give the test to stop and you will be able to see the value of the VAM, the rate equivalent to its 100%, the time remaining for it to reach the next cone and the total number of cones reached in the test.
