- Raft: To explore the world and collect resources, you need a means of transportation. Start by building a raft out of scrap materials and wood. As you upgrade your raft, it becomes more durable and can travel further distances. Eventually, you can build to survive a wooden boat and a sturdy boat to explore more islands.
