About IMS UBI for Amica
Rather than installing an OBD2 device, the IMS UBI Mobile application on the smartphone collects driving data. Trip recording starts and stops automatically. This application has been designed to limit GPS use where possible.
IMS UBI Mobile also provides feedback to enable drivers to modify their behavior. Events such as harsh braking, harsh acceleration, and overspeed are highlighted and scored. Daily, weekly and monthly trends are shown with badges earned for good driving scores. Badges may be shared via social networking with friends and family.
