Tuan Guru Dato' Bentara Setia Haji Nik Abdul Aziz bin Nik Mat was a Malaysian politician and Muslim cleric. He was the Menteri Besar of Kelantan from 1990 to 2013 and the Mursyidul Am or Spiritual Leader of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) from 1991 until his death in 2015. Overall, his career as an elected politician lasted for some 48 years following his election to the Parliament of Malaysia in 1967.

Tuan Guru Dato' Bentara Setia Haji Nik Abdul Aziz Bin Nik Mat merupakan bekas Menteri Besar Kelantan. Imej beliau lebih terserlah sebagai seorang ulama, di samping merupakan Mursyidul Am Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS).

Pada tahun 2008, Gerakan Rakyat Anti Korupsi (GERAK) telah menganugerahkan beliau sebagai Menteri Besar yang memiliki rekod paling bersih di Malaysia. Anugerah itu diberikan sebagai menghargai usaha beliau menentang gejala rasuah sepanjang mentadbir Kelantan selama hampir 18 tahun.

Pada tahun 2009, beliau diletakan diantara 50 tokoh Islam berpengaruh di dunia dan disenaraikan dalam buku berjudul The 500 Most Influential Muslims.[2]
