About Meeting Chips

Meeting Chips is a simple, private tracker for the secretary of a small group that rewards members with milestone chips: 1 to 11 months, then 1 year, 18 months, and yearly chips from 2 years onwards.

It is built with anonymity and privacy in mind.

You can mark who is attending, record who has collected a milestone chip, and postpone chips for people who were not at the meeting. Everything stays on your device, with no account required and nothing leaving your phone unless you explicitly turn on backup.

What's inside

* Members: Build your own roster, with optional notes and contact linking.
* Today: See who has a chip due, mark chips as collected, postpone chips if someone is not there, and optionally mark attendance for everyone else.
* Diary: Browse past meetings by month, with attendance and chip counts. Tap any date to see who was there.
* Chips: A full milestone schedule: Day 1, then monthly up to 1 year, half-yearly to 18 months, then yearly forever. Yearly milestones include a card. Delays are handled cleanly.
* Multiple clubs: Manage more than one group from the same install. Members are not tied to a club, so the same person can attend more than one.
* Custom avatars: Use generated illustrations or upload a photo. This is optional, so you can use a simple illustration or a member's photo if they agree.

Built private-first

* No account. No signup. Just install and open.
* All data stays on your device.
* No Meeting Chips server, analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.
* Optional encrypted backup to your own Google Drive. The backup is encrypted on your device with a passphrase you set, then uploaded to your Drive's hidden App Data folder. It is invisible to other apps, hidden from your normal Drive view, and unreadable by us. If you lose the passphrase, even we cannot recover the backup.
* Optional file export. Save the same encrypted file anywhere, such as email, a USB stick, or your own cloud storage.

What it does not do

* No ads.
* No subscription, in-app purchases, or premium tier.
* No social features.

Permissions

* Internet: Used only for Drive backup, if you enable it.
* Contacts: Only requested if you tap “Link contact” on a member. The contact's phone number is stored on your phone only.
* Storage: Only used if you tap Export or Restore from file.

If you never enable backup and never link a contact, the app makes no network requests of any kind.
