About Al Mathurat Sughra English

Al-Ma'thurat literally means "authentic sayings". This small book is a collection of daily supplications and Qur'anic verses, all based on the authentic tradition of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, to be recited in the mornings and evenings.

Al-Ma’thurat was compiled by Imam Shahid Hasan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, who strove to establish the perpetual remembrance of Allah in all spheres of life. For truly, such is the way for the hearts to attain spiritual equilibrium and tranquility.
