Seven questions a day. Everybody gets the same seven.

You answer first. Then you do the harder part: guess what percentage of everyone else answered the way you did. At 21:00 the curtain lifts and you find out how well you actually know people.

Most of the time you are wrong. That is the whole point.

HOW A DAY WORKS

1. Seven questions land at midnight. Ordinary things — how you hang the toilet roll, whether you rinse pasta, what you would do with a wallet you found.
2. You answer, then predict the split.
3. Answers lock. No take-backs, no editing, no seeing anyone else's first.
4. At 21:00 the real numbers arrive, for your region and for the world.

WEDNESDAY IS CIVIL WAR DAY

One question a week is chosen because it splits people close to fifty-fifty and neither side can believe the other exists. The screen divides down the middle and choosing an option means joining a side. You get a team name. If you end up on the smaller side you get called a Resistor, which is the better badge.

WHAT YOU FIND OUT ABOUT YOURSELF

Two numbers follow you. How well you read a room — the gap between your guesses and the real splits. And how unusual you are — how often you land where almost nobody else did. They build into a picture of you over time that is uncomfortably accurate.

Pair with one person. Instead of guessing the world, you guess each other. It turns out to be a very fast way to find out whether someone has been paying attention.
