About Mouka te parle !

Welcome to Mouka’s new space for interactive games!
This resource is for children in preschool, kindergarten and Grade 1 who are learning French or need to fill language gaps for their age group. It can be used by anyone who could benefit from additional support in acquiring a solid base for speaking and understanding the French language.
Whether at home, in the classroom or outdoors, your child can engage in activities organized ac-cording to 5 colour buttons to ensure continued learning at home. You can participate in the games and help your child discover words, rhymes, sentence structures and amusing songs. It’s through the ability to listen and express themselves verbally that children build their reading and writing skills.

What will my child learn?
Through the various games offered, the children will be led to:
- Develop the ability to be attentive to words and pay special attention to the last sound heard in order to recognize rhymes;
- Acquire basic vocabulary related to concrete and familiar subjects in daily life;
- Develop rhyme awareness;
- Understand formulations of simple and more complex sentences related to concrete and familiar subjects in daily life.
Parents, tutors and teachers will find a wealth of useful information in the INFO section, such as the reinvestment of skills through daily activities and suggested multilingual strategies to pro-mote French language learning and openness to other languages.
