About Asafar - Drugs of Morocco

Asafar is a database of all drugs available in Morocco. Essential tool for any healthcare professional. But which can also serve as simple guide for the general public.

In this version of the app, we offer the following tools:
- Search for drugs by alpha-numeric criteria and yet, you can filter your query by choosing the positioning of your keyword, at the beginning, in the middle or at the end.
- Search for drugs by active substance (s) or International Common Name (INN).
- In search operations (drug trade name and INN), the entry is indifferent for signed characters (for example: e = é = È = ê), the same goes to upper and lower case. Do your typing without worrying about the signed characters on your keyboard.
- Search for drugs by laboratory name.
- Drug identifier tool: here is an ingenious tool exclusive to Asafar to find a drug by defining several parameters:
. Price range, so you can define an interval between minimum price and maximum price,
. Precise price, if you are looking for a drug for which you know the exact price,
. Galenic form (syrup, tablet, aerosol, suppository...),
. You can include multiple parameters in your search criteria for a concise query.
- You can also identify a medicine just by the engraving on the tablet, or the print on the capsule.
- At the end of each search tool, you have access to the "Medics' Resume". This is a summary of his specifications, in addition to:
. its international ATC classification (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical),
. its therapeutic and pharmacological classification (established by Asafar),
. its pharmacological class in case it reacts with other drugs or substances.
An internet connection is mandatory -even at low speed- to use Asafar app properly.
