The Gita is structured as a profound conversation between Prince Arjuna and Lord Krishna, who serves as his charioteer and divine guide. This dialogue takes place on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, just before the commencement of a great war between the Pandavas (to whom Arjuna belongs) and the Kauravas.
