About the Story
In the world of BattleCross, badminton is a common and popular activity. In such a world lived a teenager, living in the Town of Azura.. Despite being young and new to the sport, the main character has a strong passion towards Badminton, where he dreamt of winning the State Champion one day. In order to fulfil his wish, he trains hard and seek ways to learn new skills (collecting cards) in the town. There are those who support him and sincerely wish for his success, while there are also some who take him as a rival competing towards the same goal. Along his journey, he met a lot of people, and eventually found out about an underground organization that is controlling the World\’s badminton from the shadow, and also the whereabout of his long lost father… Will you help him fulfil his seemingly impossible dream?

Unique Card Battle System
The Badminton themed Card Battle mechanism is easy to learn but hard to master. Each match starts with a random side playing a Serve Card, which starts the Shuttle in one of the positions (Net, Low, Mid, High) and a speed of 0-5. The faster the speed, the lesser time your opponent has to react. Then, each side takes turn to play cards to hit back the shuttle until one side fails to return. Thus, the Card Battle is like a rapid exchange of Hits, where each side takes turn to reply the shuttle in a speed and position within seconds of reaction time, while trying to outplay their opponent with reflex and strategy.

Collectible Badminton Cards
There are a wide range of Hit Cards, resembling real Badminton Techniques, that has a variety of Receive and Reply capabilities. For example, a [Jump Smash] card can receive shuttles from Mid and High positions, and replies them at an insanely fast speed of 4, granting the opponent a mere 1-2 seconds to react to it. Aside from the various Hit Cards, there are also another set of Tech Cards, mainly resembling Badminton Footwork and Posture techniques, that brings special effect to the rally like a temporary increase of reply speed, or a reduce of opponent’s action points and so on. For example, being a common Tech Card, [Split Step] grants the user 3 action points, allowing them to play more cards in the same rally.
