About AWKNG

AWKNG is a ministry on a mission to awaken Christians to a deeper understanding of the Bible, making high-level Biblical scholarship accessible to the everyday Christian. Our on-demand courses and free resources are developed by leading academic professors and scholars, recognized for their subject matter excellence.

AWKNG was founded in 2020, serving students from around the world, with over 8,000 courses already taken. Through our two ministries, AWKNG School of Theology & AWKNG Bible Community, we focus on providing the Body of Christ with resources to help them better engage with and understand their Bible.

AWKNG School of Theology is a non-accredited, online educational ministry focused on adult learning of the Bible. Our courses teach the Bible as a unifying meta-narrative, teaching students to correctly interpret the Bible through ancient historical and cultural contexts. We believe people should not skip over hard-to-understand passages and should be able to properly defend their faith. All course materials are in-depth, and thorough, challenging students to engage with their Bible and think critically. Yet, all courses are accessible, on-demand, cost-efficient, and with no enrollment requirements or requisites.
