A vault can't be "cracked" if doesn't exist.
Keepers is a password generating app that uses thousands of iterated hashes (hash of a hash of a hash, etc) based upon secret parameters, namely a passphrase, a PIN, and an individual identification label for each password. Keepers puts the generated password on the clipboard to it is easy for the User to paste into a PASSWORD field.
The advantage of using so many hashes is that it is far more difficult for a hacker to start with a known password and work backwards to determine the secret passphrase. They won't even know how many hashes to perform.
If a group of people, e.g. a family, agrees to share a set of secret parameters, then they can open share password labels. For a given set of credentials, Keepers provides 72 distinct passwords (and password labels). They are: 0, 0np, 1, 1np, 2, 2np, .. , A, Anp, .. , Z, Znp. The labels ending in "np", which stands for "no punctuation" are for alphanumeric passwords that do not have punctuation. The other passwords may include random punctuation marks. So for example, the password label "Pnp" might be used for Amazon Prime Video.
One could store a list of passwords in a list taped to the refrigerator, e.g.
