About ScholAR
ScholAR is an application with augmented reality (AR), which complements the Slovenian School Museum’s permanent exhibition – School Rules! and the museum objects and material in it.
The AR characters Ana and Blaz, who know everything from A to Z, lead us playfully through 13 periods of the school history, providing additional interest when visiting the exhibition and facilitating learning about education in Slovenia over the years.
How does the application work?
Open the application on your mobile phone and direct the camera at an exhibition character, who will come to life and, through a playful animation, present an interesting detail from an individual period.
With the ScholAR application you can:
• bring to life a character from the past, depicted in the time period you have chosen,
• obtain information in a playful way from general or school history,
• find out how the character is connected with the chosen chapter of Slovenian school history,
• obtain a chronological insight into all the periods of the history of schooling in Slovenia
• present interesting content to younger visitors of the exhibition School Rules!
