The Green Travel Carbon App was on Play since 2011 and with this version 2.0 is updated to a complete app. The 2.0 series will be maintained as a simple version of main product line in the 2.n series, 2.1 and higher will run embedded in another app and have greater functionality.
Remaining within its simple model, the 2.0.n series will be maintained, e.g. to track underlying software. Optional background operation during a trip will be introduced in 2.0.8. Versions before that must be in foreground and awake during a trip. Location information collected only during use and is not saved or shared.
