This app is great for timing Toastmasters talks, but it needs one more feature. Many phones, including mine, are set to turn off the screen after a minute or two of no interaction with the user. In this instance, the user is busy giving a talk and does not want to bother touching the phone once a minute. The app should keep the screen lighted up while timing is going on.

Feels glitchy. The timer stops if you rotate the screen, or if you switch to another app, so it doesn't work to start, then show the screen to others. It shouldn't care about screen orientation. The icons could be easily learned, but a text menu would be better. Also, there doesn't seem to be any way to create other times or change when colors show. We have a speaking club that is kinda like toastmasters, but not official.

Hi, Jess, the rotation issue should be fixed in the Beta. Also, what do you mean with the text menu can be better? Plus, did you scroll the menu? There is a Custom option. Next, basic times are based on TM Intl and designed for TM meetings as in its name.

The app already has the times for the most common speeches and allows you to customize the timer for speeches that don't fit any of the standard times. I really like that. It also keeps a history of the timings so you can easily give a report after or manually document them later.
