The first couple chapters were actually fun and well made. However everything from the fighting tournament onwards was just way too rushed and irrational. Like nothing really made any sense nor was it gripping. Choices were very irrelevant in most cases and there were just far too many plot twists and even more "waking up in a world that wasn't the real world" moments which is clichèd enough as is. It needed to establish more background info and progression needed to be slowed a whole lot more

A nice little game. It's definitely intended for the younger crowd, with a teen MC and very simplistic and plain writing style. The pace is very rushed and there's little to no exposition for anything, not many of your choices matter - But it isn't bad! It's lighthearted and quick like a Saturday morning cartoon. If you enjoy games with more substance and characterization, save your money. But if you want something easy to digest that you can breeze through, give it a try.

I actually purchased this book. The plot is really good. All the characters are connected together in unexpected ways and there is more to the story than meets the eye. At first glance seems like just another super hero story but boy does the plot thicken. My only complaint is the story took too long to get to the point and some of the parts which were dreamlike were very confusing and disorienting. Also I felt there were too many subplots. (Like Ryu and Akira)
