It is an excellent attempt at a text based RPG. The writing had it's pros and cons. However, there were several flaws with game mechanics including stats that had no affect on the outcome of scenarios, elements of fort development that simply went away, "main story" quest that became unavailable after one side quest. Ultimately what put this at two stars was that failure was sudden with no recompense. I chose what turned out to be a failing option with no chance to redeem myself. Just ended.

The new version of Choose Your Own Adventure. The story is interesting and the stats make it fun with trying to unlock certain choices. The spelling and grammar leave much to be desired. Try using a professional editor before uploading to the world. The romancing is a bit difficult to get down and there could be more of a story to each relationship. In the beginning, it stated there are no pictures but then pictures kept showing up. Again, editor. Find out who your audience is and write for them.

Decent, however interactions with your fellow mercenaries are very limited, I would like to see more romantic options with anne/vera. You pretty much that the one scene where you flirt with them, and then they show up at the end of the game. Second, the ending is terrible. You get attacked so you abandon the castle and just retire? The ending had so much potential, but you ruined it with that final option. I only recommend playing the game once, after that it gets boring and repetitive.
