About this game

No one mentioned saving the world at freshman orientation, but you still can’t decide if the worst part of college is the essays or the demons.

Whisked away to New World Magi Academy, you’re thrown into life at a college for supernatural in the midst of unprecedented turmoil in the city. There’s a war brewing between angels and demons in New Magi City—and the theft of the powerful celestial artifacts does nothing to abate tensions...

Nice ideas and situations overall, and certainly lots of replay value. However, the sheer scope of the story makes the pacing too fast to know what's going on and care about any of the characters too much. And in many cases, once you ask a question, you're basically pushed off to the next scenario, even if the situation calls for a slower pace. I'm a bit disappointed with the somewhat abrupt ending too. Is there a bug or there is not supposed to be a save option?

Overall, not bad. It has great potential, and I hope it gets better in the next part. But this one seemed to have a lot of descriptive 'pages', and it got boring for a while when I had to learn in classes and all that. Maybe the magical race choice were even kinda bland, for me at least. Characters are okay, but the romance is... not. There's a choice in the beginning where you can go on a date with your friend and one other after some ball, which felt like nothing. It lasted for a second.

This game is overall very solid. The world, characters, and choices feel real. I have only two gripes with this game. 1. Linearity. This game feels very linear to me, and it only got more obvious the more I replayed it. There are a few events that always happen no matter what, but that's what you have to deal with for a game about a school. 2. Lack of replayability. At least for me, one I had played the game two or three times I understood pretty much every option.
