About this app

DVSwitch Mobile is an Android PTT application for HAM radio operators to connect with other HAMs on the AllStarLink network. The application uses Wi-Fi or Cellular data networks and has high quality voice and an intuitive user interface. DVSwitch Mobile supports both smartphones and Network Radios with dedicated PTT buttons.

Configure your device to connect to a AllStar node by answering a few simple questions and you are ready to go. Click on this link to get information on setting up IAX (Asterisk) contexts:

Best digital ham solution. It is one wonder for DMR/Dstar/C4FM/NXDN. The audio is great on a Motorola Phone, the reports are great too. Switching modes is a breeze. Excellent client for my 2 servers. I can't praise enough the work of the developers. It brings all the digital voice modes at the tip of your fingers. It is easy to configure and works flawlessly. Best contribution to HAM radio ever!

Previously 1 star... Great app but it keys up on its own at a 1 sec rate. At first i thought it was my "server" (node). So i uninstalled/reinstalled and attempted to use the internet mode only. I connected to a node, and it started keying up. I had to hangup. I hope the authors have heard about this and have a resolution, because the concept is great. (KD2WIR) UPDATE: After reaching out to support, I was given excellent, personal assistance and they lead me to the correct setup Works Great!

Awesome, almost never hear the electonic digital audio you can hear when using a hotspot. Using this app has made ham comms even better, its almost always as clear as a phone call quality., except when someone is talking from the droidstar app, then you do hear it. One annoying thing is people's audio. While most sound normal, there are some people with really loud audio so you keep having to turn the volume up and down. (Note : its not a fault in the app, its people using a high mic gain)
