About this app

Make your life with diabetes easier by checking your feet yourself
To prevent poorly healing wounds on your feet, it is important to check your feet carefully. By regularly performing a foot check, you keep an eye on the condition of your feet and prevent foot problems.

The Diabetes Foot Check app is happy to help you with this!

How does the app work?
The app will send you a notification as often as you want to remind you to perform a foot check. A foot check is done in no time and consists of looking at your feet and answering questions. Do the questions show that there are any peculiarities on your feet? Then you can upload one or more photos of your feet.

Your podiatrist will review your submitted photo the next business day and contact you if necessary.

Please note: have you seen a wound on your foot or is your foot red, swollen or warm? Contact your podiatrist or general practitioner by phone and do not wait for your podiatrist to contact you.

Remote foot care
By answering questions and sending in a photo (if necessary), your podiatrist will keep an eye on your feet from a distance. This reduces the risk of foot wounds and you do not have to visit the foot care specialist as often!
The app is free and can be used by anyone without obligation. You can use your phone number or patient number to log in.

Privacy and data protection
The Diabetes Voetencheck app meets the highest possible standards for information security. In this way we guarantee that all our processes are set up to protect the security of your data and your privacy.
