Update: App was updated and is now working again after two months of not being able to control my lights. Original review. App no longer works at all after putting in my account. Just goes to a blank screen and I can't do anything unless I clear cache and data or reinstall the app. I can no longer control my lights due to buggy software.

Hi Ken, Did you try to remove the app, reinstall and clear the cash? It can be also has something to to with your settings on you phone. I'm sure this steps will do the trick. if not, don't hesitate to call us and if possible; make a report in the in-lite app. Kind regards, Team CS.

The idea of the app is good. Scenes, control of outputs, scheduling and sharing. The problem(s)? - Because of geofencing the app requires location permissions, on Android this makes it act like garbage. It takes forever to connect to the hub via Bluetooth. (thanks Google!) - Communication via BT is terrible. Updating the hub is RIDICULOUS over it. No excuse to not have WiFi OR pay $300+ for a Smart Bridge? Nope. No control away from home over cell? WHY? The communication method is the problem.

Terrible app. It barely connects even when you are standing right next to the Hub. The hub itself has no switches, so you can't control the lights without the app, and the app barely works. I have many smart home devices and the in-lite system is by far the worst. Very expensive system and it barely works. The lights themselves are great. The Hub and the app are complete garbage.

Hi Philip, Thank you for your feedback. You can send us a Problem Report via the in-lite app. There is always a solution and we are happy to help. Via the illuminated blue button on the side you can switch the light on and off should you need to, so it is definitely manually switchable. At your service, team in-lite
