About this app

Many keyboards do not provide a way to switch to other system keyboards that are installed on the user's device. This means that the user has to manually go into the system settings to choose another keyboard. For users who need to switch keyboards often, this can be very inconvenient.

This app is a shortcut that automatically calls the system settings to change the current keyboard. Just put the app on a convenient place on your home screen.

This app is ad free. It does not collect any personal information, which is why no special permissions (like Internet or SD card access) are required to install it. The app is open source on GitHub. I made it because I often need to switch system keyboards myself and I find it very inconvenient to have to go into settings to do so.

When using this app with Sidbar app it's perfect. I tested several apps and this was the only true shortcut app that didn't need any permissions granted. If you use Sidbar which is like a slide out app drawer you can access anywhere you can add the keyboard shortcut app to it and change your keyboard from any screen. Big thanks for making the app.

I like it a lot simple. Just an app to help you switch keyboards, without the hastle of going to settings, and choosing your keyboard there, but there is one thing I wish could be added. I would like to be able to switch my keyboard while I am in a app, so I dont have to close the app and switch my keyboard. If you could find a way to enable a button, like under the keyboard or something, it would make a great app even greater, thank you for your time all who put in the effort to make this happen

Unfortunately only the app maker or keyboard maker can add that functionality. Newer versions of Android allow users to switch keyboards, though, so in the future it will be better.

Thanks for creating and sharing this app :) I know more modern versions of Android allow easy switching between keyboards, but for older versions this app has been a godsend... wish I'd found it sooner.
