About this app

Scarlett Musician is a metronome, tuner, and piano app designed to be simple, yet functional in assisting everyone from the budding guitarist to the seasoned classical musician.

Sharpen your beat accuracy by training with the metronome. Stay in tune with the ensemble with the tuner's configurable base frequency and easy-to-read in-tune indicator. Use the piano keyboard to pinpoint that melody that's been running around in your head.

Purchase modules for scale practice or looking up obscure alternate fingering methods for your instrument, and much more to come!

Scarlett Musician is currently and will always be ad-free, as we do not believe in cluttering the musical experience with unsightly banners.

So close to being an unmatched all-in one app! Two simple problems are holding it back though, making it pretty much unusable for me: 1. Metronome sound cannot be changed, and to me is super annoying/in your face. Just want a click option or something. Other comments have alluded to this 2. On Galaxy S10, the piano keys register lower than where I tap. It's like I have to tap the top half of the circle to get the right note to play - otherwise the one below it plays Will totally use if fixed!!

Thanks for the review. The metronome sounds can most definitely be changed: please check the settings page! Your second issue has also been resolved. Thank you.

I love the metronome, which is all I wanted in the app. I love the granular control over beats, accents and sub-beats. Makes it easier to practice odd time signatures, and make an audible demo of a groove. I don't care about the tuner, and I don't understand the piano function. Metronome alone is worth 5 stars, but I can't find an easy way to exit the app. Seems to be in permanent full screen mode, and it hides the phone's navigation button. Please add a setting to switch off full-screen.

I find the Scarlet app to be lovely and functional! I appreciate being able to use the app on a truly FREE basis, while still getting a good range of functionality. The "stacked" octave, polyphonic keyboard is an interesting concept (reminds me of using organ ranks), but that coveted 5th star ⭐ could be gained if the keyboard 🎹 could rotate to a single, 3-octave spam keyboard when the phone is rotated to landscape in the FREE version. Thanks!
