About this app

Authenticator Pro generates Two Factor Authentication (2FA) codes for your online accounts. TOTP, HOTP, mOTP (Mobile-OTP) and Steam are supported. The generated codes are one time tokens that provide an extra layer of security to your online accounts. After scanning a simple QR code, your account is protected.

Works exactly how I hoped it would. Wear OS integration works like a charm. Easy to add custom icons (and the standard icons are also nice). Night mode looks great. Automated encrypted backup to a syncthing folder where I quickly was able to import it to my tablet! For those switching from Authy, just do it! It wasn't so bad, and the grass really is greener over here!

Works well on my watch, and is one of the only options for wear os. Very easy to add codes on the phone, and the watch has access to all the same code generators. Along with a touchscreen interface, it utilizes the scroll wheel if your watch has it, a nice touch that some apps lack. My one gripe is that it doesn't work without a phone connection (watch can't be in airplane mode). On the other hand, I don't usually need access to a code for the few times I don't have my phone with me.

I've been using this across any account that'll let me for a while now and I've gotta say, I love it. Simple, clean UI, easy to make backups, plus WearOS support if that's your thing. My only complaint is that the WearOS companion can be a little unresponsive or slow to load if you have a long list of accounts, but that's more of a problem with underpowered watch hardware than a flaw in the app itself.
