Great dictionary for English to Japanese. You can search for words in multiple ways, create your own lists of words and learn them with a simple flashcards feature (like AnkiDroid without the reviewing feature). There are also premade lists such as Kanji and vocab for N5 to N1, numbers, counting, etc. It's very useful if you're trying to learn Japanese!

Takoboto is a super-good offline Japanese dictionary with the ability to also look up grammar, make word lists (and extract them into Ankidroid), and an increasing list of features in its top menu. And, while it also has radicals to look up kanji, it pairs especially well with a japanese handwriting keyboard (like the one you can find in gboard), and splits pretty well to the top of the screen on a phone while reading Japanese in something else! Definitely my favorite Japanese dictionary app~ ^^

My most used app for learning Japanese! I love how compact it is. While full of information and options, the search process is fast so I can look up translations while watching Japanese media. Being able to view the kanji, radicals, stroke order, readings, example phrases and try out mock jlpt exams is an amazing set of additional features that I use regularly. Having notes on how common or polite a word is also handy. Only the Microsoft version is missing some of these, so that's my only minus.
