Goofy and exciting game that takes "tap on this thing when it pops up" gameplay and catapults it past the moon. You'll be frantically tapping in a flurry on onions in a hotel while watching an outrageous story progress in short clips between levels. There are all sorts of twists to the tapping and getting all the way to the end will require mastering setting up combos to get into onion space. From the boss fights to the short pauses in-between levels, this is a masterpiece of design.

Gaming In The Moment
Million Onion Hotel is a unique, enjoyable game with a memorable story and funky sound design. It offers frantic gameplay, clearing lines like bingo, to progress and gain advantages. Boss battles require strategic throwing of onion knights and clearing rows. The game has 70 levels with boss fights every 20 levels. It may not appeal to everyone due to sexually suggestive themes and murder. It lacks replay value and has poorly explained mechanics. The game is short but often on sale for less.

A wonder of gameplay loops that seems chaotic, but follows consistent rules. Very satisfying, fast, and interesting. Even the pacing between gameplay and plot vignettes are very satisfying. Studio Onion have shown they are masterful game designers by taking such a simple premise and layering it into something amazing.
