I find this a good player, but it definitely needs thumbnails instead of just texts for MP4, etc, like most players have. The other problem is the remember where you left off switch has to be constantly switched back on after setting, which is annoying. The development knows about these problems with the app. However, does not seem to understand how to fix it or won't fix it. Will delete if not fixed.......

Been using the desktop version for years. At first, the desktop version is kind of confusing to use, and this app's no different. But once I get the hang of the controls and features of it, like adding shaders, gpu hardware acceleration, downlscaling and upscaling filters, it's starting became a very good media player. Please keep updating this app and add more simple, yet useful features in the future!

The best to watch HDR/DV content on android. It doesn't reproduce black crush issue at all. Better than MX or anything else. But the interface is way too basic. No features like thumbnail view or sorting of videos or even resume from where you left. Hoping to see more features in future.
