About this app

Create, edit and play your own backing tracks with an animated fretboard to show which notes work for the perfect guitar solo.

Mix the track and edit it even as it's playing:
- Set the drum pattern from dozens of rock/jazz/R&B/world music patterns.
- Change the accompanying instrument including dozens of pianos/organs/ synths/choirs. Make the track great to inspire your playing
- Set the bass and bass pattern from dozens of modern bass styles
- Change the tempo speed up/slow down as you're playing.

Set the chord and guitar Soloist will adjust the scales to suit the chord in your style. Pick your own scale from the scale selector which shows which scales work over the playing chord. Try pentatonics, modal scales, alternative pentatonics, substitute pentatonics and other exotic scales. Tricks that many professionals don't know.

Scale exercises include the essential soloing systems:
CAGED/pentatonic
chord tones and triads
3 notes per string and 3NPS arpeggios

Turn off the bass if you’re practising bass or just leave the drums if you want a beat pattern. Because the backing track is sequenced you can easily switch a drum pattern/tempo/bass pattern and everything locks in for professional results.

Playing along with the live track is the easiest way to learn lead/ rhythm/bass guitar or vocals. It's also great fun to jam along with. Beginner or pro take your playing up a level and amaze your band at the next session.

Save up to 12 tracks and unlock more sounds, bass patterns and drum patterns with the professional version.

Make guitar practice fun again. guitar Solo is the essential guitar partner for beginners to professionals.
