A good alternative to Uber, but mainly because Uber in Colombia is pretty terrible. Their credit card policy is absurd: they only accept credit cards issued by local banks, while international credit cards are automatically rejected. That includes regular Visa and MasterCard cards that are accepted by Uber and even Taxis Libres (!). That's just illogical. Also, the app is really bad at recognizing local addresses. And finally, the app really needs a texting feature so you can communicate with the driver.

Beat is a good app, with, cheap prices. I suggest an improvement in the communication with the driver, sometimes need a chat to give other instructions or additional help. The calls only using the app, is not the best way to get the communication with the driver, sometimes the internet is slow and will be better make the direct call to the real phone number.

I downloaded the app and it wont send me a confirmation text or voicemail so I can use the app. I restarted my phone, turned it off, reinstall the app, madd sure it was updated, and it still wont work. I'm from the USA and have international phone service and have had bo issue with other taxi apps sending text to my home from the apps while here in Greece.
