While this app is helping me manage my drinking, it leaves some things to be desired in the notes section. The moods section is mostly negative with no way to add or change the available options. Secondly, free writing space would help me and my provider with understanding my drinking and urges. Lastly, the exporting of logs defaults to .csv which cannot be sent to the VA through secure messaging. A way to direct export to my VA provider would be amazing. A place to add an email to provider

This is a great app. I have PTSD and AAD. VetChange is helping me hold myself accountable for my drinking and helping urges to drink go away. If you are struggling, give this a try.

Having 1 drink in the past 30 days means I am drinking more than "28%" what bunk statistics is this based on. It acts like I'm abusing substances because I had one drink. This was marketed to me as a wellness app from the VA so that's how I am treating it.

Thank you for your feedback! It is definitely not our intention to make you feel as if you are abusing alcohol because you have 1 drink/month! This statistic is referencing that 28% of US men report having zero drinks/month, so having a single drink is more than 28% of US men have. Your level is still well below the recommended limits. Nice job!
