About this app

The TennCare Connect app is for Tennesseans who have applied for or are receiving insurance through TennCare, CoverKids, and Medicare Savings Programs. From the convenience of your smartphone, you can access many of the self-service features of TennCare on the web.

Manage and view your cases anytime you want – right from your phone. You can use the TennCare Connect app to check the status of your case, review your health plan information, view your letters, or send us a photo of required documents. If eligible, you can update your contact information, household information, add/update pregnancy records, and add/update your assisting person. You can also add/update your household’s employment income, self-employment income, or other income (not from a job).

Our app works best with smartphones.


FEATURES
View your cases:
• Setup a new TennCare Connect account if you don’t already have one
• Check the status of your coverage
• Review your health plan information
• Find out if it’s time to renew your coverage

Log in securely:
• Log in to your TennCare account using Fingerprint authentication to quickly access your account information

Manage account settings:
• Change your password
• Change your email
• Change your security questions
• Sign up to go paperless and view letters we send you
• Enable or disable Fingerprint authentication

Send us documents:
• Upload photos of the files or forms we need from you

Report changes about your household:
• Add or update your phone number(s)
• Update your mailing and home address
• Update relationships in your household
• Add or update your other health insurance
• Add or update pregnancy records
• Add or update your case’s assisting person
• Add or update your household’s employment income, self-employment income, or other income (not from a job)

View your appeal information:
• Check the status of your appeal and upload documents
• Add a reminder of your scheduled appeal hearing to your smartphone calendar

I'm getting the "incorrect password" error, even after resetting it MANY times. I get the same error on the browser version of the website, as well (using Chrome), even when I literally copy and paste the password onto both the reset page and the login page. I have tried reinstalling the app, made sure it was updated to the latest version. There is clearly a technical issue here on the part of TennCare, and no clear way to report it.

(Update. My problem was taken care of. I was able to create a new password. However there is still a problem with the message boxes being to small to read. I still have to enlarge so much I can hardly read it.) I am having a problem with signing in. They never accept my password even though it is Google saved. I also get tiny little boxes and text so I have to enlarge and then scroll side to side.

Hi, Priscilla. It's possible that the saved password from Google is incorrect somehow. So, first, try manually re-entering the password. If that doesn't work, try the "reset password" option. If you continue to have issues, please call us at 855-259-0701.

I want to know if anyone on the other end of this has actually tried to upload documents on the app or the website because Neither works, apparently for Anyone. First I tried the website and that didn't work, so I thought I would try the app. Nope. I tried from 3 different people's phones and still nothing. There's no option anywhere to actually chat or message with a real person or even troubleshoot. You must call and lose a min of 2 hours of your life or drive all over town looking for a fax
