About this game

SolfaRead aims to help you improve your reading speed.
This is not an application for learning music theory.

Choose a key, a level and go. You have 2 minutes to identify as many notes as possible. Each mistake costs you 3 seconds.
Imagined for my daughter, for free, without ads.
Have fun (or not :-)

This app is simple and straightforward. You can dive right in and have fun improving sightreading skills by simply see-and-say while you tap the right buttons. Multi-level game with simple controls, easy to use and fun to do over and over! There is no particular melody, so you can't just memorize a sequence which for me is a plus, there is no cheating, it's just brain trianing. I would recommend this app to other musicians who want to improve sightreading on the go.

This is a fun, easy way to improve your sight singing skills. Very simple interface and intuitive. Some suggestions that would make this app much better: - Different key signatures - Option for fixed and movable do - Customizable range - Using the microphone to sing notes and improve ear training

Very elementary. All exercises are only in C major. A choice is given for "G key" and "F key", but this actually means "Treble clef" and "Bass clef". All notes are quarter notes, i.e. no variety in the rhythm. OK to start with, but it is essential to do exercises where "Do" is not always in the same places on the staff. i.e. need more keys, including minor ones.
