I find this a great app. I tried a few different ones before I settled on this. I have e8000 and I had to downgrade the firmware in order to change the country to US but this is quite straightforward if you follow the instructions carefully. The app connects to the bike easily and reliably and is very intuitive to use with a nicely laid out and clear interface. Above all, it's a very cheap solution. Recommended.

It worked to update my motor tork settings the 1st time. The eco setting for the Shimano steps motor seem to be low or off completely. I was able to use the software to update the low to plus 10% which totally made my day. The YouTube app only gives you high medium and low which is what I was stuck with. This app made a difference. Amazing.

Everything as described! I have a Shimano STEPS EP801 motor with SHIMANO STEPS E6100. After downgrading the firmware, the changes could be made as described. You only have to follow the description exactly. The statement alone that the changes can be made within 10 minutes is highly exaggerated. Since everything is new and you want to avoid errors, 20-30 minutes are necessary! I am totally thrilled because the changes are not easily recognisable!
