The app also offers extensive information on topics such as Work and Careers, Health, Learning German, Housing, Residency and Family. In addition, mbeon also facilitates contact with migration advice services and with other important drop-in centres.

mbeon is provided by independent charities: Bund der Vertriebenen (BdV) [Federation of Expellees], the German Caritas Association (DCV), der Deutsche Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband (DPWV) [Parity Welfare Association] and the German Red Cross (DRK). The German Red Cross is responsible for coordinating the project. mbeon is financed by the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community (BMI).
