this app is 100% ad-free! Sometimes I receive negative ratings due to radio stations playing advertisements. There is nothing I could do against that. The app itself is ad-free.
Advice: Use either the new function 'commercial-suppression' or 1-2 minutes of 'increasing volume' for your alarms. You won't hear the first commercial then.

Radio Alarm Clock +
This is an online clock radio / radio alarm app.
It evolved from the 'Radio Alarm Clock (100% free of charge & ad-free!)'.
It is a heavily refurbished version with a more modern design, many improvements and new functions. It contains no ads!
This app is still being developed and improved.
There may be bugs and errors which may prevent the clock radio from waking you up as intended!
Please consider using a 'normal' alarm clock in addition to this app.
The advantages and new functions of the Radio Alarm Clock + include, among others:

β’a night clock
β’even / odd week support for alarms
β’options for WIFI auto on/off
β’home screen widgets
β’alarm with flashlight
β’a beeper alarm to prevent from falling asleep again
β’statistics :) - examine detailed statistics about your behaviour regarding getting up, listening to the radio and other actions within the app
β’useful comfort functions:
-sleep timer radio
-timer / power nap
-a quick start button which will start sleep timer radio and/or power nap alarm with preset duration immediately
Those can be found, configured and used directly on the main page
β’additional functions like:
-a volume bar inside the radio player
-the possibility to change the radio station also on the alarm screen (like in the radio player)
-display of battery level and current time inside the improved radio player
This is an online radio alarm clock app.
An internet connection is needed in order to play online streams.
In case no internet connection is available an internal audio file will be played as backup, in order to wake you up anyway.

What a huge disappointment. I spent hours today trying to make this app work. Change all the settings as advised. Downloaded a different app that was supposed to help with that. That was useless. This does play music I like from radio stations. But cannot find a way to set the alarm. I got this app to use as an alarm with music. HUGE waste of time. This app and the one the developer recommends are the only two apps I've ever not been able to use.

Hello, what exactly is the problem with setting up an alarm? Try this: go to radio, then search icon (radio list), Mark a station with the heart icon. This is now a favorite. When going from main page to alarms and "add" (+), you can set days, time, a name and further down, tap on the radio station, your fav's are shown. Select one and save it.

I really like this app, but for some reason can't change the radio station for each alarm. If I tap the radio station name nothing happens. If I use the station finder and then select a new station, it plays a sample but does not apply the station to the alarm. There's also no button to do this. So I'm stuck with default radio! Even so better than most other alarm apps

Hello, it should work like this: you do add stations as favorites by activating the heart icon in the search, where the sample plays. After that, in an alarm, when you tap the station, it should show a pop-up with all your favorites. Select one and save the alarm. If no favorites are set, the station tap should open the search. I hope it will help.

Brilliant app. I had the previous version as well as night clock (as also by Ben Laws). This now has the two combined. Simple and clear with lots of options to personalise to your preferences. Also impressed by the author's rapid response to feedback.
