It has a 10 point rating system for each song. That's not as common in music players however it doesn't get saved in the metadata. Not all the metadata from mediamonkey for PC is transfered in into the phone app. Great layout. No favorites playlists. You have to make them. It doesn't play FLAC files. Big bummer there. When the app can render FLAC it will be outstanding.

Thanks for the review! Re. Playlists, you can sync then from MediaMonkey for Windows. Re FLAC, MM plays whatever codecs are supported by your device. FYI, though, if you're syncing from MediaMonkey for Windows, you can configure it to auto-convert synced files to a format that's supported by the device.

Testing of the app is not as good as it should be. If a file is removed on the server it is not removed on the device even though sync settings are set to do so. Reliable synching is the number one issue and has been for a long time. Problem reporting is has been awkward and inconvenient for the user. The PC side of this app is quite powerfull but not user friendly. Very good with Android Auto.

If a file is removed from MediaMonkey's sync list, it should be deleted from MediaMonkey for Android (MMA) on sync _assuming_ that it's not also included on a playlist that's also being synced. If this isn't the case, please report to the forum/helpdesk with details. Thanks!

RE-EDIT: The stars still stay there every time I go back to an album, I have to manually put them away every time. Hoping there is a fix for this. Great app, but the star rating is always visible over the album art; you used to be able to tap to make it appear/disappear, but now it is always there. Any fix for this? Edit: Figured it out, you hit the little pin icon next to the stars.
