Notes:
- Calibre Sync is not a reader app. You must install and use one of the many excellent reader apps available.
- Only Microsoft OneDrive for Personal accounts (shared) are supported. Please email us if you observe any inconsistencies.
- Due to restriction in Box API, Calibre Sync must acquire write permission in order to download files, download is not a read action on Box. Calibre Sync guarantees that it will not perform any write actions against your data in Box cloud account.
- Calibre Sync use WebDav API of Nextcloud and OwnCloud services, and it requires case sensitive file system to work properly. Therefore, you must make sure that your libraries are set up on case sensitive file system (Linux, recent MacOS, Windows NTFS with case sensitive enabled).

Permission explanation:
- Calibre Sync only requires "storage permission" to store downloaded book formats on your device.

*For Lollipop devices* you must have sdcard available so that the app can download books to external storage.

Regretting my purchase, I can't refund the app anymore even though I only installed it twice for a few minutes. The app doesn't do what I was hoping it would do, and is useless to me. I needed something that would let me transfer books from calibre to my pocketbook ebook reader. Not only the app doesn't support non-kindle email addresses, but I also can't upload any books to any of the managed calibre libraries like Dropbox, only allows downloading from libraries. Sharing epubs is broken too.

This app is very slow when downloading books from Calibre server and even slower downloading from One Drive. It took 8 hours to download 600 books from Calibre Content server and 12 hours to download 600 from One Drive. When doing a search I often get wrong results. Well since Calibre Compainon will no longer be updated and you can no longer open a book from the app that only leaves Calibre Sync to work with Calibre. Hope they get the bugs worked out of the app. I bought the full version.

It's not bad but is very buggy. Books show in the library that aren't there and can't be deleted. The Downloaded books section is just one big list. It doesn't show the read status if I send from the desktop app which is the only reliable way to get this to work. . The interface really needs some work. Some downloaded books don't show in the downloaded section. Ever. There are too many notifications of everything - things that went wrong, went right, etc.
