About this app

Trimble® Mobile Manager is a configuration application for Trimble GNSS receivers. It is also a subscription licensing application for Trimble Catalyst GNSS services.

Use this app to configure and test your GNSS receiver, set up GNSS receivers for use with Trimble Precision SDK enabled apps, or connect to and share high precision positions with other applications which use Android Location Services.

This app is compatible with a wide range of Trimble and Spectra Geospatial receivers including:

  • Trimble Catalyst DA2

  • Trimble R Series receivers (R580, R12i etc.)

  • Trimble TDC650 handheld data collector

Using Trimble Catalyst with Trimble Mobile Manager
In conjunction with a subscription to the Trimble Catalyst™ GNSS positioning service, use this app to connect to and configure your Catalyst DA2 receiver, monitor the status of the subscription, and control how GNSS positions are accessed or shared with other location-enabled apps running on your phone or tablet.

Note:A Trimble ID is required to use the Trimble Catalyst service. High accuracy modes (1-60cm) require a paid subscription to the Catalyst service. Visit https://catalyst.trimble.com for a list of subscription options and information on where to purchase.

Contact your Trimble partner in the first instance. If you have a technical issue, send a TMM log file using the “Share log file” feature inside the Help menu of the app.

Update: While we still have no idea as to the cause, a very helpful support member has been helping me track it down. It took about a week to get through to someone helpful, but they have impressed me with their CustServ👍5⭐ for effort. (OP:After I grant the three permissions it sticks on a "No network data connection" white screen of death. No sign in screen, no options to go into settings, nada. Doesn't matter if I'm on wifi or 5g LTE, and yes, my phone data is on and works/...)

It is incredible how unreliable this piece of kit is. Every month there seems to be a new issue we have with it or another of the driving pieces of software. Out in the hills in scotland surveying today and third way through 50 assets it will not log in to the server, nothing can be done. Best of it is this a revisit after the other korec software that goes with it lost our data last month. Now that's two wasted visits to Scotland, not cheap, and twice we have had to let our client down.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but the app wont load. The screen continually flashes and displays a google error message "network problems prevent loading of login page". I have cell and wifi connectivity (full bars). I have to force quit app to get my phone back. Does the catalyst antenna need to be plugged into the phone when you start the app? Running samsung galaxy 8+ android 8.0.0 stock verizon config. Will rate higher once I can get into the app.
