This app is ill-conceived and idiotic. It's meant to give you audio tours of places like national parks, and knowing such places often don't have signal, they let you download those tours ahead of time. Problem is, the app needs to connect to the internet to boot up even if it's been no more than 2 minutes since you last used it, rendering it utterly useless in all the places it's meant to be used. Dev then replied to my review, claiming falsely that they did not program their app in this way.

Hi Adam, We are sorry for the trouble. While your assumption is correct, during that process there is a safe guard if the network connection is down or too slow, the app will still launch and allow you to take your already downloaded tours. A network connection is required on first launch of the app, after that it is optional.

As one reviewer stated, even if you download the material ahead of time, the app continues to try to connect before playing when you're in the middle of nowhere, freezes and then closes. Tried to listen to Garden of the Gods several times over wifi before and after going to the park and the app kept closing. Definitely has a lot of kinks to work out still. I already uninstalled.

It's an awesome app! Great to listen on long drives. my husband and I drive for a living and its wonderful for learning interesting facts and its a fun way to pass the time. My only complaint is the lack of stories! We drive through Oklahoma alot and it would be nice to hear about the Cherokee people or the old Spanish forts in St.Agustine whenever we head back home to Florida. Just more in general would be nice.
