Visits to the read start kangaroo library and dive into five exciting books worlds. Reading Start is a program that performs the Reading Foundation on behalf of the BMBF and will offer all children the mood for reading.

The small kangaroo wants to borrow new books in the library, but a hurricane brings chaos to his favorite books. Dive with the kangaroo in five different stories read start one and help him to establish order again. The read start app complements the reading start-themed world and makes reading foxes for young children for pleasure. The reading experience is enriched by numerous mini-games and characters with whom the stories can be replayed. Parents also will find many opportunities to read aloud and play along with the app.

"Reading start - three milestones for reading" is a nationwide reading support program, the families with young children from the beginning accompanied to its entry into the school and consists of three consecutive phases.

It is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and conducted by the Reading Foundation. Core of the initiative form the free reading start sets each with an age-appropriate book as well as a guide with tips and information on reading and storytelling in everyday family life.
