About this app

Syrinscape creates immersive sound design and a movie-like Soundtrack for tabletop games.

For Android Tablets and ALSO phones!

Transform your next role-playing or tabletop gaming session. Syrinscape is a revolutionary sound design app created in Australia by tabletop role-playing aficionados. The app conjures every aural landscape imaginable, from space ship battles, frozen moons and space docks to cyberpunk discos.

Unlike other soundboard-style apps, Syrinscape uses editable and adaptable libraries of sound files – SoundSets – to 'improvise' soundscapes, allowing users a great degree of control over what they are hearing, while requiring almost no interaction while the app runs.

The Syrinscape Sci-Fi Player app is optimized for Android, giving users the ability to playback Syrinscape SoundSets with a beautiful, easy-to-use interface. All the Sci-Fi SoundSets you buy from the Syrinscape Store are available across all your devices, so you can pick up whichever device is to hand and immerse yourself in whatever sound world you desire.

Plug this into some big speakers at your next game and blow your player's minds!

Amazing variety of sounds and music, from 1920s to modern day to sci-fi future. I've been using I this for years in my games. It's easy to mix and match sounds from different sets, to add or drop sounds with a click. There's also one-shot sounds to add a surprise to an encounter. There's new sound sets monthly, and it's also great for listening to while meditating, doing chores, or exercising.

I was surprised by the wide range of sci-fi sounds they have available including stuff suitable for Call of Cthulhu and Cyberpunk RED as well as general space-y/futuristic sounds and some really good music in there too. I've found myself using a lot of their sounds when I'm playing other board games. I find it easier and better using this on my laptop and it would work really well on a tablet so I upgraded to a subscription as I was using their fantasy sounds as well for my D&D games. I think my phone screen is just too small to fit everything in so I use it in landscape instead of portrait which means I can access the menu easier but I much prefer to use it on my laptop. Their customer support team are really friendly and helpful if you have any teething problems with it.

yup, 1 star. Don't get me wrong, this is head/tails above competition, a) high quality sound b) looping is continuous and uninterrupted, c) reasonable prices d) it is easy to use e) great way to add fun ambience to any game f) permanent purchases (non subscription) are available. however this is literally a skin to the fantasy player, but a completely separate program. allow it to be a tab in the other so i can have fantasy sounds and scifi lasers or Mechs etc without running 2 devices to do so
