Fantastic concept, but not usable for me in its current state. When notifications do come through, they need to behave like the app isn't there, which isn't happening in all scenarios (crucially, it's broken whenever phone set to vibrate only). Also as others say the ability to see the contents of the inbox in between batch release times and without pausing the app is missing.

Hi Iain, thanks for your feedback. We did dig into this issue and it appears that Fairphone is behaving a bit differently when compared to others, by changing certain underlying Android behavior that's necessary for Daywise to function. If you have another phone, please give that a try, you shouldn't get a phantom buzz when the phone is on vibrate.

This app looked really promising for defering notifications at certain times in a smarter way than the android's default do not disturb settings. But it doesn't let you set a time when it "batches" your notifications and a time when it doesn't. Once you set it up it's "on" all the time. If I wanted notifications to never be instant, I wouldn't have them set up in the first place. It looks like others have put similar feedback here but the developers aren't willing to accept it. Sadly uninstalled

Hi, thanks for your feedback. For times when you need notifications instantly, you can always 'Pause' Daywise from Inbox (via the floating action button). We are working on the feature where you can set pre-defined times/days for batching/receiving instant notifications. Should be available soon. Please reach out to us at support@synapse.ly. Thanks

Daywise is a phenomenal app tht does everything as advertised. In a world where time is so important, it is hard to keep distractions at bay. Daywise is the absolute perfect solution to a common problem: far too many notifications. This app not only alleviates the problem, but allows you to take full control of how you receive notifications. I wouldn’t ask for anything more from Synapse. They have created a terrific app.
