The Very Hungry Caterpillar - First Words is an adorable preschool learning app that will delight and encourage young children as they learn their first words.

Listen to a fun rhyme and watch beautiful images appear magically, as if from a real pop-up book. When your child taps a picture, they see and hear the associated word, making this a powerful tool for learning new words as well as reinforcing those they already know.

Based on the beautiful artwork of Eric Carle, discover characters and objects from favorite children’s story books such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Spot the “Grouchy Lady Bug”, hear the duck quack from “10 Little Rubber Ducks”, discover “Brown Bear” and baby bear.

There are over 80 words to learn, grouped into 13 different categories to get children thinking and talking about the world around them including:

- Food: all the Very Hungry Caterpillar’s favorite foods
- Family: beautifully illustrated by Eric Carle
