For the most part this is a good app. The firmware needs some improvement in being able to connect to WiFi with modern security or to have a PoE adapter. It would have been nice to know that you could add a full set of shades instead the instructions indicated that it was single shade. Also, it would've been nice to know that you can add a whole scene from a remote at a time. Also, the location is hidden in settings to get accurate sunrise/sunset times.

Absolutely will not set up my Tahoma. The only way the app works is if I reboot my phone and then go into the app. If I force stop the app, it will not work until I reboot again. I cannot connect my phone to my Tahoma. I reset it and everything. It gets to the point where it starts to pair up and then it says it fails. I tried everything, and I am an IT guy so I know what to do for any smart device out there. It does not mention in the instructions that the app looks for the Tahoma Network.

This app requires you to openly transfer your WiFi password to somfy. It's a direct invasion in your privacy. It does not let you select a WiFi network, which may be used for invasive devices. So it is impossible to use this device without exposing the network to unknown players. Now I need to order Ethernet adapter, maybe it will be possible to configure the device that way.
