Even when you download your textbook the webpages take over 30 seconds to load, same time as if I hadn't. This textbook is bogged down by loading problems, it loads you in the wrong place too if it has been more than 10 minutes since you have turned the screen on. This is for both the app version (I use it on my Samsung tablet), and the desktop page. Additionally, it is really scummy to have copy-paste limits from an online textbook you HAVE PAID FOR. This won't prevent ppl stealing the content.

Although this app is not absolute garbage, it is close. I have purchased a few pricey textbooks and have frustrations with text to speech and have been denied access because I've reached the maximum session allowance. There is no reasonable explanation for how I have three active sessions when I've only accessed this app from two devices. I have restarted both devices to clear any active sessions. As much as I do not wish to give money to Amazon, I'll likely purchase my e-books there from now on

The highlighting function is atrocious. I use highlights constantly when reading, especially for research and case analysis. Being able to read and take notes on the go is important, but trying to highlight in this thing either only highlights a single word (and not even one I was trying to highlight), or it spazzes out and highlights the entire page. Every other eReader I've used has this figured out. If this book was available on any other reader I'd dump this one in a heartbeat.
