•Quickly reference jazz chords (instead of using a cumbersome fake book) for a jam session
•Practice real book jazz standards in multiple keys
•Listen to tunes from a jazz recording and play along on your instrument. (Figure out the key of the recording and transpose the jazz chords to that key).
