Daily Word - Word Of The Day

I like this app. It is simple and fits pretty much everything i was looking for. The two widget options are nice, although i wish the part of speech was on both; an abbreviated part of speech in parenthesis after the word on the smaller widget would be really helpful. May i suggest looking into adding widget settings somewhere down the road so the padding can be turned off and what is included can be personalized? I think this would definitely help get your app to a larger crowd.

The word of the day is great but why does the notification come thru at 3:30 in the morning? Woke me up the last 2 night's. There is no way to change the time. You can turn the notification off, which I've done now, just can't change time so now i won't get it. Thank you to the developer for your response. I appreciate you saying you'll fix the problem. However...with notifications off It still sent me a notification in the middle of the night. Gonna have to uninstall.

This is an AMAZING. APP. I am highly impressed. Just like someone else's comment on here; I too have tried many but to no avail. Not only do they give you an array of words, from the simpler side to the much more advanced range, but they also give you the ORIGIN of the word. Sorry, but for a "word nerd" like me (lol) I eat that right up!! Other apps I have used, I would wake up to words that were much too simple, even when I would set it to 'intermediate.' Words like thorough, superficial, etc.
