Onkyo makes simple, great-sounding whole-home wireless audio systems for Android phones and tablets. Using DTS's breakthrough Play-Fi(R) technology, you can stream your favorite tunes over Wi-Fi right from the app to Onkyo Speaker(s) and/or Onkyo Receiver(s) connected to your existing stereo system. Play-fi doesn't keep its promises. The app disconnect continuously (no battery saving on, on the device used to run it), making it impossible to even finish one album. Plenty of music services are not compatible across speakers, depending on the brand. The GUI is far from being captivating. À disappointment now that I spent money to buy a dts play-fi speaker...

Your idea of critical listening is turning my lossless into a 16bit mp3? I get better quality using Google Cast from in Deezer. Visually well designed but functionally useless which negates any positives this app had going. Hire someone with real coding experience and try again.

I spent a lot of money on my Onkyo CR-N775D. Which is great if you use it as as a stand alone device. This app, however is not fit for purpose. Integration with third party streaming services was the man reason I purchased the unit. I may as well stayed with my 20 yo system. I get a better result from a 3rd party app, which alas is no longer updated, or even available on the app store.
